Description
Small flat base with thickened floor, string-cut; rough, sharp outer edge. Flaring lower wall up to convex body. Probably mug.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Light reddish brown fabric, slight gritty, with rare, small, poorly sorted, subangular and rounded (some elongated) lime inclusions; silvery micaceous; thin, even wash very slightly lighter. Material typical for ware.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves entire base and small part of lower wall. Slight to moderate, extensive abrasion, pitting, and gouging; worn breaks; thin, extensive specks to patches of encrustation.
