Description
Everted rim, nearly flat to sloping slightly outward, hooked slightly on outside edge. Body is slightly convex. Handle oval in section attaches to rim. Slight turning ridges on interior.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Grangular fabric is reddish grey with frequent, medium, subangular, light inclusions and numerous other tiny bits. All surfaces are fired slate grey.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 15-20% of rim and upper body with handle stub. Slight, somewhat extensive erosion, abrasion, and chipping around edges; extensive, thin film of encrustation on all surfaces.
