Single sherd preserving 1/2 of toe and flaring wall above; toe slightly concave with shallow central button. Granular fabric constantly fired to pale reddish-brown with one medium-large dark stone observed, angular <lime>, other varied tiny bits, many visible on surface. Exterior surface very thinly slipped, same color as fabric. Narrow combing nearer base has upward orientation, with rounder peaks and more overlap away from base. Extant interior surface lined with black pitch. No certain identification for this small vessel (amphoriskos / table amphora?), though clearly late Roman.
