- Description
- Upper body tapers to everted rim with flat upper face and outer edge, slightly thickened with sharp edges. Traces of burning or use under heat on rim.
- Fabric, firing, surface
- Light brown fabric. Hard, coarse; splintery break, rather smooth surface texture. Frequent small, light, rounded and angular inclusions (quartzitic, calcareous); occasional tiny golden micaceous sparkles. Interior surface is light brown; exterior is grey; all extant surfaces have light brush marks.
- Preservation comment
- One sherd preserves ca. 5-8% of rim and small part of upper body, Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion; worn breaks; rare specks of encrustation.
