Description
Small bowl or cup. Low, narrow ring foot, rounded outer edge, thickened and banded on exterior face and sloping interior face. Thin, slightly convex floor. Wide flaring, curved lower wall.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Hard, very fine, pale buff fabric with very few inclusions but rare, tiny lime specks. Thin, even, matte, reddish brown slip on interior only but severely flaking; underside plain. Overall not well made. Corinthian.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 18% of base and small part of lower wall. Slight, somewhat sparse abrasion and scoring; worn breaks; thin, extensive patches to film of encrustation on all surfaces.
