Convex upper body. Wide flaring rim with thickened, rounded lip; small, flat, raised band at articulation of shoulder and neck, just visible at attachment of handle. Vertical loop handle, flatterned with rounded sides, attaches against rim.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Somewhat, hard fabric, pale red at core and interior but fired brownish red on exterior, has slightly granular break; rare, small to medium, poorly sorted, subrounded, lime chunks, some spalling; rare, small, subangular, dark gray to black stoney particles; and rare tiny black and white bits; faint silvery micaceous. Material typical for ware but slightly more gritty.
Preservation comment
One small sherd preserves 5-8% of rim with small part of neck and upper part of handle. Slight, sparse abrasion and chipping around edges; worn breaks; scattered specks of encrustation.
