Relatively thin-walled, wide upper body tapers to rim. Vertical rim, thickened outward into a narrow, triangular projection with a wide groove below it, creating a ledged shoulder. Exterior finely brushed in horizontal strokes. One wavy line incised immediately below the grooved rim.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Hard, medium coarse fabric with granular to hackly break; pale purplish-red at core, surfaces lighter and redder (2.5YR 6/6); inclusions are frequent, well sorted, mostly small to rarely medium, subrounded and subangular, light (calcareous); infrequent, tiny to small, irregular gray and black bits; small voids. Preservation comment
Two joining sherds preserve 26% of rim (1346 17% and 1980 9%) and part of shoulder and upper body. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion and chipping; somewhat worn edges; thin, extensive film of encrustation on all surfaces.
