Fabric, firing, and surface description
Granular fabric with frequent medium to small varied quartz inclusions, many glistening on surfaces, also occasional medium lime, one very large chunk of lime observed at lowest point of exterior. Exterior surface is fired to variable brownish red; interior surface and beneath dark gray from extensive exposure to high heat. Exterior surface essentially plain, though with thin wash where surface not worn or chipped.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves entire base. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion and pitting; frequent patches of thin encrustation; breaks have slight dirt adhesion and abrasion.
