Description
Large bowl. Wide, thick, curved wall. Slipped on exterior and interior.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Material typical for regional ware: fabric slightly brownish and dull; thin, semilustrous slip, smooth, more red and thinner on interior (peeling extensively in small flakes), and thicker and more orange on exterior. Turning scratches on interior; even wheel ridging on exterior.
Preservation comment
One small body sherd. Slight, extensive abrasion and minor chipping; worn breaks; thick, small patches of encrustation across surface and breaks.
