Description
Convex body: globular? Thickened, everted rim has somewhat angular outer face (not fully triangular) and concave interior-upper face; small ridge delimit lower margin of rim.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Brownish red fabric consistently fired but slightly darker at surface; area of rim blackened during firing. Medium hard, medium coarse fabric with granular break has frequent, small to medium, angular, gray, light, and clear particles (quartz) and uncommon, small to medium, subangular lime; other tiny bits. Horizontal brushstrokes from wet-smoothing.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves 11% of rim and part of upper body. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion and chipping around edges; worn edges; thin patch of encrustation on upper body under rim.
