Description
Straight flaring upper wall. Plain rounded rim. Tubular (hollow) handle applied to rim, pressed up by finger from below (distinct thumbprint) and slightly overrunning lip from above; spirally turned.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Reddish brown fabric (5R 4/6, red) fired inconsistently; all surfaces dark gray (5R 3/1, dark reddish gray). Granular cooking ware fabric has infrequent, small, angular white inclusions and other tiny bits.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves <5% of rim with lower handle attached. Slight, extensive abrasion and rare chipping; worn breaks; large, thin patches of encrustation.
