Description
Cup or bowl. Thin curved wall. Slipped solid field on interior; on exterior, delicately painted narrow triangle and tranverse line.
Fabric, firing, surface
Material typical for ware: buff with tinge of pink; orangish red slip; fine, slightly soft, smooth breaking; rare lime specks; rare, isolated, small, angular, dark bits; faint (micaceous?) sparkles; thin, even, semilustrous slip. Overall a well made vessel.
Preservation description
One small body sherd. Extensive, slight to moderate abrasion; worn breaks; faint specks of encrustation.
