Low dish. Widely flaring, curved lower wall Hanging rim, in rounded ledge, at carination.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Buff to pink fabric; reddish to orangish brown slip. Somewhat soft, fine; smooth break. Uncommon, well sorted, small lime inclusions; rare, tiny, varied bits; common small flecks of golden mica. Semimatte slip, thick slip but variable application, slightly mottled; beginning to peel in small flakes. Material and technique typical for Corinthian sigillata but somewhat darker slip and more micaceous fabric than usual.
Preservation comment
