Description
Juglet. Rounded shoulder with groove at turn to neck. Slipped on exterior.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Buff with a tinge of pink; reddish orange slip. Medium fine, hard; smooth break. Uncommon, small, subangular and subrounded, lime inclusions; rare, tiny varied bits; faintly golden micaceous. Semilustrous, unevenly applied slip gathered more thickly in contours. Corinthian.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves small part of upper body to lower neck. Extensive, slight to moderate abrasion and minor chipping; worn breaks; scattered specks of encrustation.
