Spike toes like this appear on Late Roman LRA2 (~5th c. CE) and not the developed Late Roman-Early Byzantine form of the southern Argolid (late 6th-early 7th cs.)
Description
Short, irregular spike toe with rounded cap on bottom.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Close to southern Argolid LRA2 fabric, firing, and surface treatment: fired more brownish orange at outer surface (4mm); grittier. Regional: northeastern Peloponnese.

Preservation comment
One sherd preserves most of toe and attachment to lower wall. Slight, sparse abrasion and extensive pitting; worn breaks; no visible encrustation.
