Description
Corinthian unguentarium. Cylindrical neck tapers slightly to small, projecting lip. Black glaze overall. Early Hellenistic.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fine, moderately hard clay with very few tiny voids and inclusions. Thin, even, semilustrous black glazed; fugitive.
Preservation comment
One fragment preserves small part of rim and upper neck. Moderate, extensive abrasion; specks of encrustation.
