Description
Corner portion of tegula mammata has conical protrusion (H. 0.039; Diam. 0.080 m). Curvature of breast indicates that it could have been 1–2 cm higher (or more) in original, unweathered state.
Fabric, firing, surface
5YR 6/4, light reddish brown. Medium-fine, somewhat hard fabric with uncommon, subrounded to subangular, red and black stony inclusions and common small, elongated voids. Cf. KA038.
Preservation description
One fragment broken on all sides preserves front and back. Top of breast shows heavy abrasion; slight, extensive pitting. Heavy, somewhat sparse encrustation.
