Description
Corinthian pan tile with triangular lip that rises from top surface in gentle curve. Coated with yellow slip on top and edge to create clean, uniform appearance; bottom is unfinished.
Fabric, firing, surface
10YR 8/2, very pale brown. Slip: 10YR 8/4, very pale brown. Somewhat hard, dense, medium-coarse fabric with rare, small, subangular to angular, red and brown to black inclusions. Very thin, even, dull slip, widely preserved. Local product? Sim. KA067.
Preservation description
One small fragment broken on three sides preserves front, back, and one side. Slight, sparse abrasion and scoring; slight, extensive encrustation.
