Material description
Fabric: 2.5YR 5/4, reddish brown. Slip: 10R 5/6, red. Somewhat thin, even, dull slip preserved on rim and in grooves.

Late Roman Athenian lamp, late glazed
Description
Tear-shaped outline. Tear-shaped or almond-shaped, concave, plain discus has two single circles at base of handle and raised rim. Sloping shoulder has wavy lines. Low, narrow, solid handle with two grooves above.
Preservation description
One small fragment preserves handle and small part of shoulder and discus. Slight, sparse pitting; scattered traces of encrustation.
