Description
Oval, flat discus has design in low relief, holes bottom and right, wide and straight channel to wickhole, and sharp, raised rim. Design is Latin cross with flaring arms and double circles and pellets at corners and inside; arched-square panels with crossing lines inside in quadrants. Shoulder has sunken panel with palm branch in low relief and rounded rim. Somewhat long nozzle; traces of burning.
Fabric, firing, surface
Fabric: 7.5YR 5/3, brown. Slip: 5YR 3/3, dark reddish brown. Hard, fine fabric. Thin, even, dull slip preserved in patches.
Preservation description
One small fragment preserves <25% of shoulder and discus. Slight, extensive abrasion; worn breaks.
