Description
Flat base has single circular groove around incuse signature in two lines: line 1: ΑΓΑ̣; line 2: uppermost tip of stroke of first letter legible. Read: ΑΓΑ̣|Π̣[ΙΟΥ] (thin, crisp letters).
Fabric, firing, surface
Fabric, firing, and surface treatment typical for ware. 5YR 6/8, reddish yellow. Slip: 10R 5/6, red. Thin, uneven, dull slip preserved in patches.
Preservation description
One small fragment preserves ca. 30% of base. Slight, sparse abrasion; somewhat worn breaks; scattered specks of encrustation.
