Description
Thick handle has two grooves below; lower handle has flanking grooves and single circles beside base. Flat base has single, circular or almond-shaped groove around incuse signature: ΧΙΟ|[ΝΗ]Ϲ̣ (rounded serifs).
Fabric, firing, surface
Fabric, firing, and surface treatment typical for ware. 5YR 6/6, reddish yellow. Hard, fine fabric with smooth break and surface. Unglazed.
Preservation description
One fragment preserves entire handle and ca. 40% of base. Little abrasion; slightly worn breaks; small patches of encrustation.
