Description

Flat base has double oval or almond-shaped grooves around incuse signature: Χ[ΙΟ]|Ν̣[ΗϹ] (rounded serifs).

Fabric, firing, surface

Typical fabric, firing, and surface treatment for ware. 2.5YR 6/4, light reddish brown. Hard, fine fabric. Unglazed.

Preservation description

One small fragment preserves small part of base and wall. Little to no abrasion and clean breaks; thin film of encrustation.
