2.5YR 6/4, light reddish brown. Slip: 10R 5/8, red. Thin, even slip as wash preserved especially on bottom. Sparse, large clay globules.

Description
Circular outline. Circular, concave, plain discus has central filling hole and prominent flat framing ring. Slightly sloping shoulder with beveled rim has her ringbone in relief. Rounded nozzle with traces of burning. Overall suture is cleanly trimmed, but there is narrow shelf of clay protruding along back right upper handle. Thick, solid handle has three grooves; lower handle has flanking grooves. Flat base has two oval grooves around incuse signature: Α.
Preservation description
Two joining fragments preserve roughly three-quarters of lamp, including base, handle, and parts of discus, shoulder, and nozzle. Extensive encrustation or mortar.
