Description
Tear-shaped outline. Rectangular discus has solid horizontal leaves or ears in lower corners and lateral framing bands with uncertain grooved design. Flanking the channel to the wickhole is petal-shaped panel with a circle, all surrounded by hatching. Shoulder has wavy lines.
Fabric, firing, surface
2.5YR 6/6, light red. Hard, somewhat smooth breaking, medium fine fabric with uncommon voids. Unglazed. Attic.
Preservation description
One small fragment preserves very small part of shoulder and discus. One edge displays secondary scorching; worn breaks; encrustation in molded relief.
