Material description
7.5YR 5/3, brown, to 7.5YR, 3/1, very dark gray. Late Corinthian white fabric. Unevenly fired. Streaky black discoloration.

Description
Tear-shaped outline but asymmetrical. Circular, shallow, plain discus has central filling hole with low rim, four holes around, two double circles at base of handle, raised rim, and rounded framing ring. Slightly sloping shoulder has herringbone in low relief. Rounded nozzle framed by double angled grooves has airhole at top and short groove to wickhole; traces of burning. Small joining ridge, narrow ledge, and slight webbing. Thick, pierced handle has two grooves above and one below and shows misalignment at suture; lower handle has flanking grooves. Flat base has double almond-shaped grooves around incuse signature: ΧΙΟ|ΝΗϹ. Details are very blurry.
Preservation description
Three large fragments preserve almost entire lamp. Slight pitting and scoring; sparse encrustation.
