Description
Flat base has double circular, wide, deep grooves.
Fabric, firing, surface
Typical fabric, firing, and surface treatment for ware. 7.5YR 6/4, light brown. Slip: 10R 5/4, weak red. Thick, even, lustrous slip.
Preservation description
Two joining fragments preserve ca. 50% of base and ca. 25% of wall. Slight, sparse abrasion and chipping; worn breaks; rare patches of encrustation and black discoloration.
