Description
Circular or oval, slightly concave discus with raised rim has relief of cross monogram with rho open right and double circle on arm; holes in upper quadrants.
Fabric, firing, surface
Typical fabric, firing, and surface treatment for ware. 2.5YR 6/8, light red. Hard, fine fabric; smooth break and texture. Unglazed.
Preservation description
One small fragment preserves middle part of discus. Slight, sparse abrasion with minor scoring; somewhat worn breaks; faint bits of encrustation.
