Tear-shaped(?) outline. Rounded nozzle framed by angled grooves; traces of burning. Flat base has double circular grooves around uncertain incuse letter and two single circles at bottom. Two grooves mark junction of underside of nozzle and wall, almost contiguous with bottom of base grooves. An incuse design of an inverted palm branch overlaps both base and the nozzle grooves.
Fabric, firing, surface
Typical fabric, firing, and surface treatment for ware. Fabric: 2.5YR 6/6, light red. Slip: 10R 6/6, light red. Hard, somewhat fine; slightly smooth break. Slight, dull slip as wash, worn, preserved in patches.
Preservation description
One large fragment preserves nozzle and ca. 33% of base. Slight, sparse abrasion with gouging around nozzle; worn breaks; slight encrustation in grooves.
