Description
Circular, concave discus has relief of wreath of eight leaves, diagonal grooves and circle between tips, and rounded framing ring.
Fabric, firing, surface
Typical fabric, firing, and surface treatment for ware. 10R 5/6, red. Hard, dense, medium fine fabric, slightly flaky; granular break. Unglazed. Firing cloud on outside surface.
Preservation description
One small fragment preserves 25% of discus. Slight, sparse abrasion; worn breaks; extensive, heavy encrustation in grooves.
