Description
Thick body section from triton shell (Charonia). Roughly rectangular fragment cut along two sides; other side shows ancient break after artifact made from large shell. No abrasive wear such as from use as scraper. Perhaps cut as implement but never used? Veneer? Patch?
Preservation description
Slight abrasion, slight pitting; slight black speckling.
