Description
Platter. Rectangular. Flat, very smooth, top surface; flat, unfinished underside. Narrow, raised, rounded rim forms upper outer edge.
Fabric, firing, surface
Fabric: 10YR 6/1, gray. Slip: 10Y 3/1, very dark greenish gray. Hard, smooth, fine fabric with frequent mica and rare, spherical, moderately sorted, white inclu-sions. Smooth, shiny, somewhat soapy slip.
Preservation description
Two joining fragments broken on two sides. Slight, sparse encrustation.
