Description
Nearly flat base, no tooling. Globular body with maximum diameter at upper body; very slight wheel ridging. Cylindrical neck proportioned at one-third height of body, with slight depression at articulation of shoulder and neck. Slightly oval mouth (not trefoil); outwardly thickened rim, slightly undercut, with rounded lip. Spined strap handle attaches to body at maximum diameter and to rim.
Fabric, firing, surface
7.5YR 8/6, reddish yellow. Somewhat soft, smooth, fine fabric with few, very small, rounded, white and black inclusions.
Preservation description
Intact. Slight chipping on rim and body; slight to moderate, extensive encrustation.
