Description
Concave base with small central button on bottom and floor. Globular body, loosely knife-trimmed on lower half and corrugated on shoulder toward neck. Tall cylindrical to conical neck. Offset rim flaring up to everted, rounded lip with concave outer and upper faces. Spined strap handle tracing a wide arc attaches to shoulder and upper neck, widely splayed at lower attachment.
Fabric, firing, surface
7.5YR 7/6, reddish yellow. Hard, slightly coarse fabric; somewhat hackly break and smooth surface texture; frequent, well sorted, small inclusions: subrounded and subangular, white (lime), black, brown, red, and gray particles; small, mostly rounded voids at surface.
Preservation description
12 joining fragments preserve entire base, most of body, 33% of neck, <25% of rim, and complete handle. Slight erosion and chipping along breaks.
