Description
Pitcher. Flat base shows rapid string-cutting. Corrugated, cylindrical to ovoid body with maximum diameter at shoulder. Tall cylindrical neck, contracting as for trefoil mouth (front missing); preserved part of rim outward-thickened. Narrow band of grooving at articulation of shoulder and neck. Lentoid strap handle attaches to shoulder and lip.
Fabric, firing, surface
2.5YR 5/6, red, but surface fired slightly darker. Hard, smooth, fine fabric with common, small, spherical, white and rare, tiny to small, subangular, gray and red inclusions.
Preservation description
Intact body but missing 25% of neck and >50% of rim. Slight, sparse to patchy encrustation.
