African Red Slip with Stamped Decoration
Description
On floor, one concentric groove and stamped motif: multiple radiating palm branches, ovoid, with single central rib; tip encroaches on groove. Style A, type 1 or 3 (LRP, pp. 219, 223, 229–230, fig. 38:a-c, e, f ). This stamp typically appears on Hayes Forms 59-62.

Fabric: 2.5YR 6/6, light red. Slip: 10R 5/8, red.
Preservation description
One fragment preserves small part of base including part of stamp on floor. Slight, sparse, chipping, gouging, and scoring; somewhat worn breaks.
