Description
Flat base. Concave flaring wall. Rounded rim with flattened top. Twisted, tubular handle socket. Slight scorching from use on base.
Fabric, firing, surface
Fabric (core): 10YR 3/1, very dark gray; (surface): 2.5YR 6/6, light red. Hard, medium fine fabric with common mica, few, moderately sorted, angular to subangular, white inclusions, and rare, small, black matte inclusions. Imported.
Preservation comment
Four joining fragments preserve 25% of base, body and rim, and ca. 50% of handle, including full profile. Slight abrasion; slight, patchy encrustation.
