Description
Flaring, slightly convex body; lower wall thickened near bottom. Flaring to horizontal rim with tapered lip; concave upper face and small flange for lid seating on inner edge.
Fabric, firing, surface
Fabric: 10R 6/6, light red; (thin surfaces): 5YR 5/6, yellowish red. Hard, gritty fabric with few mica and few, small, poorly sorted, small white and black inclusions. Imported.
Preservation description
One large fragment preserves <25% of upper body and rim. Slight chipping along breaks; worn breaks; thin, wide patches of encrustation on interior and exterior.
