Description
Flat base. Cylindrical to ovoid body, with slight constriction above base and wheel ridging on upper wall. Conical neck, offset from shoulder, with crude wheel ridging up to slightly flaring rim with grooved lip. Trefoil mouth. Strap handle with splayed attachments just below shoulder and just below lip.
Fabric, firing, surface
2.5YR 5/6, red. Hard, smooth, medium-fine fabric with few golden mica, abundant, very poorly sorted, white inclusions, and few, small, gray and black flecks.
Preservation description
Almost intact, but missing one-third of rim and neck. Large crack extending down from broken neck across shoulder and chipping on base; slight, extensive encrustation.
