Description
Deep basin. Heavy, flaring ring base; very slight, low bevel on exterior, sloping on underside with tooling marks. Low carination; straight, flaring wall. Scar from kiln support on resting surface.
Fabric, firing, surface
Fabric: 2.5YR 5/6, red. Slip: 10R 4/8, red. Material typical for ware.
Preservation description
One large fragment preserves entire base and <25% of lower to middle body. Slight, sparse abrasion with rare gouging; slightly worn breaks; scattered specks of encrustation.
