Description
Flat base. Cylindrical to ovoid body. Irregular modeling of lower body up to point of maximum diameter; above, faint corrugation up to neck. Conical neck with wheel ridging up to flaring rim with rounded lip, grooved on inside. Trefoil mouth. Crooked strap handle attaches at shoulder and rim.
Fabric, firing, surface
7.5YR 6/4, light brown. Somewhat hard, gritty fabric with few mica, abun-dant small, spherical and rounded, white particles (lime), rare black bits, and rare, medium, angular, pale gray to pink chunks (limestone?).
Preservation description
Almost intact but missing 25% of rim. Large crack nearly separates the base from body, slight, extensive pitting, and large chips on rim; moderate to heavy, extensive encrustation.
