Description
Cylindrical to ovoid body with maximum diameter on upper body just below shoulder; corrugated below articulation with neck. Cylindrical to conical neck up to everted rim with grooved lip. Lentoid handle attaches just below shoulder and just below rim.
Fabric, firing, surface
5YR 6/6, reddish brown. Hard, smooth, fine fabric with common mica, common, poorly sorted, subangular to subrounded, white and gray inclusions and very rare, medium, irregular, pale gray chunks (limestone?); sparse rounded voids opening at surface.
Preservation description
Three large joining fragments preserve >50% of upper body, 66% of neck, 25% of rim, and entire handle. Slight erosion and flaking; slight, sparse encrustation.
