Description
Globular(?) body. Horizontal rim with rounded lip; broad groove on upper face. Oval handle descends from outer edge of rim.
Fabric, firing, surface
2.5YR 5/6, red. Hard, medium fine fabric with few mica and common, poorly sorted, rounded, small, white, red and black inclusions. Regional?
Preservation comment
Three joining fragments preserve part of upper body, roughly one-third of rim, and upper attachment of one handle. Slight chipping; slight, extensive encrustation. Slight black discoloration.
