Description
Flat to slightly concave base with off-center string lines. Globular body with maximum diameter at midpoint, corrugated from lower body to shoulder. Two handles attach to body just above maximum diameter.
Fabric, firing, surface
2.5YR 5/6, red. Hard, smooth, fine fabric with few, very small, subrounded, white inclusions. Thin, uneven wash same color as fabric.
Preservation description
Two large, nonjoining fragments preserve entire base and small part of lower body (a) and large part of the upper body and shoulder (b). Slight erosion of surface; slight, sparse encrustation. Black speckling near base.
