Description
Steep sloping shoulder. Cylindrical neck with rolled rim. Oval handle, neither grooved nor bifid, with vague peak. Red dipinto on lower neck reads upward: ⲤΚⲰ.
Fabric, firing, surface
Fabric: 2.5YR 6/6, light red, to 7.5YR 8/3, pink. Hard, fine fabric with rare mica, frequent, subangular to subrounded, white inclusions and very rare, gray inclusions; slight spalling. Material typical for ware.
Preservation description
Three joining fragments preserve most of shoulder, 50% of neck, 66% of rim, and both complete handles. Slight, somewhat sparse abrasions with gouging; worn breaks; heavy patches of encrustation around rim and handle.
