Description
Square brick with slightly thickened edge. Wavy pattern traced on surface by finger. Linear scoring across opposite face before firing.
Fabric, firing, surface
Buff fabric with a tinge of green; moderately soft, very coarse, with slightly sandy texture and granular break. Rare to uncommon, well sorted, small elongated vegetal flecks, red flakes, and rare small limestone bits, few spalling; numerous spherical to subrounded porosities. Corinthian.
Preservation description
One sherd preserves two edges. Extensive, slight abrasion with scattered gouging and pitting; worn breaks; faint white film of encrustation from prolonged marine submersion.
