Description

Sloping shoulder. Vertical bifid handle.

Fabric, firing, surface

Difficult to discern through weathering. Pale red fabric with uncommon, small, shiny black inclusions. Italian? Cf. KCMS P0244 (check: joining?)

Preservation description

One sherd preserves one handle from attachment at shoulder almost to upper turn. Moderate, somewhat extensive encrustation; worn breaks; thick, extensive encrustation from prolonged marine submersion.
