Description
Solid pike toe tapering downward.
Fabric, firing, surface
Reddish yellow, fired slightly more red at very surface(?). Somewhat fine, hard, with smooth break. Frequent, well sorted, tiny white bits and small, angular gray inclusions.
Preservation description
One fragment preserves upper toe and attachment to lowermost body. Moderate, sparse abrasion; worn breaks; extensive, thick encrustation from prolonged marine submersion.
