Description
Small bowl with low ring foot and molded relief on lower wall. Medallion: single ridge around maker‘s name in thin, serifed letters: ΓΟ[ΡΓΙ(Α)] (retrograde; omicron not closed at bottom). Calyx: row of 8 small palmettes surmounted by stylized acanthus fronds; indistinct design intervening.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 40% of base and lowermost wall. Slight to moderate, extensive abrasion and rare scoring; worn breaks; thin, irregular, extensive patches of encrustation around relief.
