Fabric, firing, surface
Late Roman Corinthian “brick red“ fabric (heavy, somewhat gritty), firing (very hard), and surface (sparse smoothing). Slight webbing, distinct, rounded joining ridge; good alignment at back seam.
Preservation comment
Intact but missing front 20% of wall and entire nozzle. Very slight, sparse abrasion but otherwise surface in good condition and breaks clean; infrequent, thin patches of encrustation. Front half of lamp shows gray to black discoloration (scorching?).
